May 13th to 15th, 2010 - The Conflict and the role of mediator in Saint Aubin (France)
This seminary will take place in a place created by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, in Saint Aubin's castle (France) since May 13th to May 15th.
This seminary has for theme "the conflict and the role of the mediator"
Understanding is at the heart of mediation, and communication is essential to understanding. For successful
mediation, there must be successful communication. In order to establish a framework for informed and responsible
decision-making, the mediator needs to assist the parties to understand and assert their own points of view while
being open to those of others.
In this seminar, participants learn the ways that the mediator can open the process of communication in mediation, including :
Establish the pivotal role of the mediator in the communication process
Developing constructive patterns of communication between the parties
Dealing with problematic dynamics
Utilizing the language of creative conflict
Integrating the lawyers’ roles with sensitivity to the impact on communication in the mediation.
These days of trainings are dispensed in English only.
